I have a little story to share with you….

Last winter I broke my arm – at the time I was ALREADY feeling BOOB!! I had invested heavily in not one but two masterminds and I had SET MYSELF UP to have a full calendar of events and activities along with the deep studying and application of my mentor’s methods – and the call to create a business model that was going to be sustainable for me. The Cosmic 2 x 4 came and laid me out flat on the side of the mountain while I was skiing and as my arm broke I thought to myself….

”Uh oh…. This isn’t good….!”

Little did I realize though how much of a gift it ACTUALLY was!!

There is always a blessing in what you are experiencing – even if it may not seem so at the time! The blessing was that I realized the time had come for me to actively seek out and allow some HELP into my life. I realized it was time for me to get OUT of the “seat of do everything” that I had been sitting in for far too long. For Passionpreneurs – part of the big dream that we all pursue is the dream of creating a business that will allow us to have time and space to ENJOY peace, solitude, communion with Spirit and Nature, our families, vacations and leisure activities and personal growth.

One of the biggest ways that we STUNT our own Creativity and Productivity is in our refusal to LET GO of those things that we don’t excel at and LET SOMEONE HELP US who IS, someone whose greatest JOY is in that area of service! When I was able to (oops make that FORCED to) let go and get some help I was able to see that finally – finally – finally I had managed to take a leap and command for myself the role of the CEO. Not only for my business but of my whole life!
Let me tell you – I think for MANY Solo Passion-preneurs – the movement into expansion of both self and business can be fraught with fear. There is that old “chicken or the egg” thing that happens that keeps many paralyzed and quite literally “chained” to the desk.

“I just don’t have the flow of money coming in to support making these changes that I know I need to make” is one of the most familiar refrains that I hear. I see it all the time in clients. They become a martyr for their mission – their business takes on a life of its own and becomes a thirsty vampire sucking all their energy rather than a servant to them that allows them to facilitate the delivery of their great work and life’s purpose into the world.

Although men are by NO MEANS immune from this tendency to martyrdom, women in particular are acculturated to be serving everyone else first (while secretly waiting, hoping and praying for that plump ole fairy godmother or that dashingly handsome prince to come along and rescue them from their endless fate of slaving away and getting no recognition!)

What I personally have discovered is that LEAPING into that unknown place is by far the better choice. Don't get me wrong, it’s a constant practice to be aware of whether what you are holding onto isn’t serving you anymore. Those places where you hold on is where you are staying small – using them as excuses to keep from growing into your greatness.

I made some seriously HUGE leaps of faith at the beginning of 2010 – and in doing so sent a CLEAR signal to the Universe that I was ready to stand in my POWER and deliver! The Universe responded with an even CLEARER message that I absolutely was NOT ready unless I let go of my need to have to do it ALL and do it MY WAY and make the conscious choice to get some damned help already! So I did and with this call I’m inviting and intending the SAME for you!

Meet Mikael Sami-Kumara
