Spent the better part of today – filming in various segments and locations – video clips for the OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) Contest to audition for my own show! Do you have ANY idea how long it ACTUALLY takes to get the things done that you have dreams and visions for? Do you know what is required and do you plan appropriately for the ‘extra’ time you might need in order to really do the job not only joyfully by well?

I have spent most of this past month really getting clarity on those aspects of my work and my life that are of the highest priority to me. As I have moved through this process – a huge clearing in fact – I let go of a LOT – like my intention to blog at least two or three times a week – has now turned into more like two or three times a month! Better to put together quality content that is from the heart and of service to my audience then to send the energy of frenetically trying to live up to some WYLD expectation I set for myself that is in the long run unsustainable.

As I opened up more space in my life my new favorite word has become “DELEGATE”! The beauty of delegation is that often there are people out there who are just as good if not better than you are at all the administrivia that goes along with being an entrepreneur. Is it time for you to stop being Cinderella and start being the CEO??

Now back to that video for the Oprah contest – is it complete yet? Nope – I think maybe another hour or so of messing around with it to get the timing right – 3 minutes – that’s all I have – to say what I need to say and to be compelling as well as authentic. It’s important to me too that the energy that comes across is both grounded as well as high frequency – after all energy is what it’s all about isn’t it?

Got guided this morning on the yoga mat by my upstairs team to just GO FOR IT! Who knows – with your support and votes perhaps I’ll succeed in landing this audition and get my own show! I can’t possibly if I’m not willing to take the leap and give it a try. When I finish I’ll post the link…. Let me know what YOU think!!
